Guided Meditation
Meditation is a state of concentrated focus; turning attention inward to promote feelings of calm, peace, and enlightenment. Meditation fosters skills of mindfulness. Guided Meditation is a technique used for creating images, sensations, or animations to examine the self and become open to communication.
During a guided meditation participants are verbally guided through relaxation exercises to calm the body and illuminate the mind. By relaxing the body participants are able to focus on the images being created by the leader. Guided Meditation provides opportunity for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual relaxation. It fosters a connection with and a communion with other realms of spirituality.
