This is the place where I am supposed to list my qualifications. The first thing you’ll learn about me is that I rarely do what I am supposed to. I have qualifications, and they are pretty darn impressive, but they're not here. For those of you interested in the official stuff you’ll find my résumé on another page. Otherwise, I would like to take a few minutes to introduce myself.
Hi, my name is Amy and I am uncomfortable doing things like this. I’m learning that sometimes we have to do things that make us uncomfortable anyways. I wear many hats, the most important being that of Mom. I am blessed with two of the most amazing boys. Matt is 18 and a freshman in college. Austin is 14 and a freshman in high school. The 4-year age difference has worked out well for us until my recent realization that I will have two graduating at the same time. I wonder if they have parent loans for that kind of thing?
I am a Reiki Master-Teacher. I help people feel better and I can teach them ways to help them heal their own wounds – body, mind, emotion, and spirit. I am a creator of Möga, a minimal impact wellness and fitness program. I am grateful that I have the opportunity to be a part of people’s lives as they heal. I get to witness miracles.
I am the element of nature and I love being with animals, any animals. Well, that is not exactly true. I do not enjoy the company of spiders or mosquitoes. Otherwise, time with animals seems to heal my soul. This is one of my best-fitting hats. By the way, animals LOVE reiki and I LOVE doing it with them.

I am a photographer and I have over 4,000 blurry pictures to prove it! Luckily, my camera has an auto focus and stabilizer so at least I have a few pictures that are clear. I keep trying. People tell me I’m funny. I will let you be the judge of that.
What's with the bald head you ask? I have been welcomed into a women’s shamanic apprentice group. As a symbolic gesture of reconciliation and honoring of those who have passed before me, I asked that my head be shaved. I’m not sure what all this means for me just yet - I’ll keep you posted.
Those are a few of my hats. I would love to sit down and talk about these and others. I’d like to hear about yours too. Call me; write me. We can visit over tea (real or virtual – both yummy). Let’s get to know each other.
